ET26SWE0027 - 2026 Fast Track Outreach Event

Cohen Ventures, Inc. DBA Energy Solutions (“Implementer”) and their subcontractors (collectively, the “Program Team”) The Program Team will host Request for Ideas (“RFI”) calls with California (“CA”) Investor-Owned Utility (“IOU”) Program Administrators (“PAs”) and their respective engineering teams, demonstrating the CalNEXT program’s ability to serve as a mechanism for meeting their immediate needs through Fast Track projects. This will include a proactive outreach approach designed to inform and aid IOU teams to capitalize on the CalNEXT Fast Track project type.  

“Fast Track projects” are a subset of the Technology Support Research (“TSR”) project type, defined as: “a process to provide focused outputs addressing immediate portfolio needs". These projects may enter the CalNEXT program at any point in the calendar year, with intent to act as an agile approach to addressing immediate portfolio needs.  

This outreach event will include targeted communication through personalized Information Sessions on the CalNEXT Fast Track Project RFI for each of the three California ("CA") Investor-Owned Utility ("IOU"). Each IOU will be allocated the first chance to use two Fast Track slots, for a total of six (6). Each Fast Track outreach call will include a call to action soliciting Fast Track ideas.
