Project Description

Cohen Ventures, Inc. These interviews will aim to understand:

Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration

  • Understand how stakeholders, such as Energy Efficiency and Market Transformation program implementers, industry actors, and technology developers (collectively, the “Stakeholders”), prefer to receive updates and insights (e.g., reports, presentations, webinars).
  • Explore frequency and timing preferences for communication to maximize engagement.
  • Identify ways to strengthen partnerships between the program and stakeholders.

Usage of Program Results

  • Assess how Stakeholders have implemented findings or recommendations from past projects.
  • Determine what barriers prevented the adoption of these results.
  • Measure how projects meet its Technology Transfer pathway

Program Gaps in Technology Transfer

  • Pinpoint areas where the program lacks sufficient follow-up or support for Stakeholders post-project.
  • Identify successful methods and formats that have driven stakeholder adoption.
  • Examine where prior approaches fell short in facilitating Tech Transfer.
  •

These meetings, along with other statewide programs collaboration, will help the Program Team gain the most up-to-date insights to ultimately support stakeholders and utilities in utilizing CalNEXT research to impact utilities Energy Efficiency Portfolios.
