Project Description

The Program Team will coordinate collaboration meetings throughout the year with California energy programs that support technology transfer or other energy efficiency practices utilities can implement to support the state’s clean energy economy and climate goals. The Program Team will meet with statewide energy efficiency programs such as:

  • CalMTA, a program of the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), to focus on methods for delivering high-impact solutions that further the state’s clean energy economy and climate goals.
  • California Technical Forum (CalTF) to discuss technical information related to the state’s integrated demand side management portfolio.
  • California Building Energy Modeling group (CalBEM) to identify and pursue systemic solutions in building energy modeling that advance the state’s climate action goals.

These meetings, along with other statewide programs collaboration, will help the Program Team gain the most up-to-date insights to ultimately support stakeholders and utilities in utilizing CalNEXT research to impact utilities Energy Efficiency Portfolios.
