The Program Team will hold a virtual event for stakeholders who might be interested in understanding more about the CalNEXT Scanning and Screening process. The purpose of a Scanning and Screening specific event is to provide transparency regarding the scanning and screening process, show the types of ideas/projects that are being scanned (rejected and approved), and provide more guidance for stakeholders wanting to submit ideas/projects to CalNEXT. The goal is to share with public submitters what has been updated in TPMs and review criteria, and share/remind how to submit, in preparation for the October 24th submission deadline. This will make the scanning and screening process more equitable by ensuring the public has access to the same information the partners do regarding submission preparation. This event will be held virtually, and audience members will be able to ask questions. Attendees will also be educated about the value of engaging with CalNEXT, with a clear call to action for how to submit ideas/projects.
