ET23SWE0033 - Emerging Technologies Coordinating Council (ETCC) Summit 2023

The Program Team will participate in the virtual Emerging Technologies Coordination Council (ETCC) 2023 Summit between August 28^th and 29^th, 2023. This summit aims to engage with key industry stakeholders in the emerging technologies (ET) sector. On August 28^th, 2023, ETCC’s agenda highlights three key initiatives: low global warming potential (GWP) refrigeration, demand energy response (DER) in office buildings, and decarbonization of commercial water heaters. August 29^th, 2023, the focus will be on the overall decarbonization efforts. In addition to the key initiative agenda topics mentioned, CalNEXT has been allotted two 2-hour presentations, one per day. The Program Team will utilize the existing webinar to connect with entrepreneurs, investors, technologists, policymakers, and utilities with the goal of building partnerships, conveying CalNEXT activities and efforts, and expanding statewide presence.
